In 1976, Mary Humble founded Humble Pool Service with a simple idea: treat every pool as if it were her own. Armed with nothing more than a beat-up ’62 green pickup truck and an unmatched work ethic, Mary built her business on the values of quality, trust, and customer care. For over 20 years, her all-woman workforce set the standard for exceptional pool service in Wichita, KS.

Mary’s son, Stoni Beauchamp, grew up immersed in the world of swimming pools, spending summers by her side. As he got older, Stoni joined the family business, working maintenance routes during high school and eventually expanding into repair services while earning his degree in Entrepreneurship from Wichita State University. Mary’s philosophy of excellence shaped Stoni’s approach—she taught him that Humble wasn’t just selling clean pools but offering customers the peace of mind that every job would be done right, every time. For Humble, “good enough” was never good enough.

After graduating, Stoni transitioned his part-time role into a career, acquiring ownership of the company and furthering its mission. In 2014, Humble Pools partnered with Stoni’s lifelong friend Michael McDonald, who had built a thriving lawn and landscaping business. Together, they launched Humble Lawn and Pool, combining their expertise to offer a comprehensive range of outdoor services.

As the business grew, our dedication to superior quality and exceptional customer experience never wavered. In 2018, we expanded into new territory with the founding of ICTLights.com, a holiday lighting company that has since become the largest in Wichita. The following year, we partnered with two other entrepreneurs to establish Iroh Business Investment Group. This collaboration brought together six distinct businesses to capitalize on shared synergies while allowing each to continue thriving independently. These ventures were driven by the same commitment to personalized service and trust that have always been the hallmarks of the Humble name.
